The number of online scams have been growing across the internet in recent years. The cryptocurrency space, like many other industries that operate online, continue to be a target for these bad actors; Coinhako users are definitely no exception from this.
Due to the irreversible nature of crypto currency transactions, Coinhako will not be able to recover any funds sent to scammers.
We would once again, like to remind all our users to remain vigilant, and evaluate all transactions before processing it. Cryptocurrency scams are particularly painful.
As the security of your funds and data on our platform is a priority, here is a list with some of the more common scam attempts that all Coinhako users might encounter. This should provide you with added knowledge to ramp up your vigilance, while online.
Scammers posing as Coinhako Admins
Customer support at coinhako will only be communicated via:

If anyone messages you on Telegram, contacts you via email, SMS, phone calls or any other way, claiming to be a Coinhako admin or support staff, DO NOT listen or respond to them!
They are most likely scammers.

Investment and Mining Scams
You know the old saying, “if it’s too good to be true, it probably is”?
There is a growing number of online services that claim to guarantee a profit via trading, mining, or some other investment service.
More often than not, these are scams. The culprits behind these schemes will either take your money and run, or use it to facilitate some form of a ponzi/multi-level marketing scheme.
We strongly advise against sending funds to anyone claiming guaranteed and instant profits.
You should only trade via reputable services, such as Coinhako, always run a due diligence check on any platform(s) before using its services.
A little extra effort comes a long way in protecting your data, funds, and your overall well-being.
